About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The Linguistic Proceedings Series is a peer-reviewed, open-access publication presenting selected papers from conferences organised by the International Linguistic Society.

The series aims to disseminate high-quality research across linguistics and related disciplines, promoting scholarly exchange and international collaboration. Papers are invited following acceptance of a conference presentation and must be submitted as short proceedings papers prepared in accordance with the publication guidelines.

Each issue corresponds to a specific conference organised by the Society, and volumes are organised by publication year.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers are not informed of the identity of the authors, and authors are not informed of the identity of the reviewers.

Reviewers provide structured reports and a recommendation (accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or decline). Where revisions are required, authors must address reviewer comments before a final editorial decision is issued.

The Editor makes the final publication decision based on reviewer reports and editorial assessment.

Publication Ethics

The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing.

Submissions must present original work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. All manuscripts may be subject to editorial screening for plagiarism and research misconduct.

Research involving human participants must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional guidelines.

Where significant errors or ethical concerns arise after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions where appropriate.
