Neural correlates of language aptitude during a lexical semantic categorization task

In an fMRI experiment, language aptitude—a specific talent for learning languages measurable by tests—was used as an independent variable, and brain activity elicited by a semantic categorization task was measured. Significant differences in brain functionality were observed between groups across two distinct comparisons.
